Ciancio'

The Masseria Cianciò, a local family-run farm, is located in the extreme eastern tip of Sicily, just 12 kilometres from Modica and about 5 from Pozzallo.

Situated in the countryside of Modica, among carob and olive trees, prickly pears and dry-stone walls, the farmhouse still preserves its original features, both in the building materials and in the furnishings, in order to recreate the atmosphere of the typical 19th century farmhouse.

The large pebbled courtyard, the "heart" of the farmhouse, is surrounded by the farmer's house, stables, warehouses for storage of carobs, wheat and straw... now restructured and used for guest's comfortable accomodation.

There are 8 comfortable en-suite rooms, bordering on the yard and almost all have a lovely private garden where guests can spend relaxing moments or have breakfast during the warmer months.
