A few miles from the farm there is also a leisure centre with swimming pool, tennis courts and football pitch. Typical restaurants are situated nearby. The masseria Cianciò is ideally situated for day trips to the nearby towns in the Val di Noto, e.g. Modica, Ragusa Ibla and Scicli, architectural gems and UNESCO world heritage sites built in Sicilian Baroque.

The archeologically interesting caves, Cava Ispica, are only a few minutes' drive away. They combine Siculian, Greek, Roman, paleontological and bizantine remains.
There are some very fine sandy beaches all along the Iblean coast as well as a wildlife reserve, Vendicari and the picturesque fishing village Marzamemi.

Ferries to Malta depart regularly from Pozzallo, a nearby harbour. A trip to Malta is another pleasant way to spend a day.
